DSpace for the prestigious Texas Christian University (TCU)

4Science is supporting TCU in the upgrade of their DSpace repository. We are very excited to collaborate with such a great institution in their Open Science journey. TCU decided that it was time to upgrade their old DSpace version to a newer, more stable, and performing platform. As a DSpace Certified Platinum Provider and lead contributor to DSpace, we already suggested to all the institutions that are running an old DSpace version (DSpace 5 or 6) to plan an upgrade to DSpace 7 as the community is not supporting older versions anymore. This would cause security issues in the future. At the beginning of the new DSpace 7 journey, the platform had some stability issues, but now DSpace 7.6 is the best performing version with fewer bugs and active support from the community.
