Hove, UK Oslo and Akershus University College (Høgskolen i Oslo og Akershus or HiOA) have deployed their two new institutional repositories, HiOA Open Digital Archive and HiOA Fagarkivet on the KnowledgeArc managed, hosted DSpace platform.
Significant in these deployments is that they are both integrated fully with the Joomla Content Management System via REST API. This allows for a highly flexible User Interface that is able to be easily modified as well as allowing for content management elements not possible in standard DSpace interfaces.
In addition they are both multilingual in English and Norwegian, and both are integrated with the national CRIS, CRIStin, and has the custom injection into workflow harvested works, unique to the KnowledgeArc platform, using the KA led open source project JHarvest.
