From Michele Mennielli, International Business Developer 4Science The University of Trieste chose 4Science for hosting and the maintenance of their DSpace-CRIS installation. Thanks to this partnership we will be able to work on many new functionalities for DSpace-CRIS and soon make them available to the whole community.
As the previous month, June will be a month full of important conferences. As a sponsor organization, from June 7 – 9, 4Science will be attending the 2017 IIIF Conference. We will have the opportunity to present our IIIF Image Viewer DSpace add-on, which allows the integration of DSpace with any IIIF Image API compliant server.
After the IIIF Conference, we will fly to Brisbane to attend the important OR 2017 Conference where, together with DuraSpace and Atmire, we will present an update about DSpace 7. We will discuss the new REST API, during a pre-Conference Workshop. During the Conference you will have the opportunity to learn more about DSpace-CRIS and DSpace-GLAM in presentations we will give in DSpace Interest Group sessions.
